Harrison focuses on defense strategy and budgeting, the defense industrial base, and space policy and security.
Previously, Harrison was senior vice president and head of research at Metrea, a senior fellow and director of Defense Budget Analysis and the Aerospace Security Project at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), and the senior fellow for defense budget studies at the Center for Strategic and Budgetary Assessments. He has also served as a captain in the U.S. Air Force Reserves and held affiliations with Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs.
A popular writer and speaker, Mr. Harrison has testified before Congress and appeared on CNBC, CNN, NPR, PBS, and Fox News. He has also been quoted in print and online media including The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Wall Street Journal.
Mr. Harrison received a BS and MS in aeronautics and astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
